Our “Private Client” team is headed by senior solicitor/director John Armit assisted by William Hill and Steven Millar all of whom have long experience in advising the firm’s private clients in these areas of work.
This Department deals mainly with:

- Establishment and management of Trusts
- Winding up Estates
- Preparing and administering Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance Tax Planning
In addition, this Department has responded to the need for specialist services in certain developing areas.
LICENSING is an area of law which has undergone major changes recently and John Armit has a developing practice in this area, advising a growing number of individual and business clients and acting as an agent for a number of out-of-town solicitors.
GUARDIANSHIP is another specialist area in which we have identified client need. Steven Millar has considerable experience in advising and assisting a number of families facing the incapacity of a relative.
